That made me smile! Going to have to dig out that album now too, I remember buying it, but doubt I have played it since then.

I'm afraid I'm as not as 'forensic' as you when it comes to music: I don't even know what "nu-metal" and "pop punk" is meant to be - I just listen to any new CD and if I like what I hear then that is enough for me.
I'm away from my system at the moment, and will be for about another week. But upon my return I'll dig out the CD and give it another spin and a reappraisal.

In a February 2021 interview, drummer Ralph Molina remembers how the group ended up collaborating with Young:
"Neil would come out to (Billy Talbot's) house in Laurel Canyon, after he left the Springfield, and play acoustic with us and talk. After we became the Rockets, we were going to play the Whiskey in Hollywood. We asked him to come sit in with us, which he did. We then formed into Crazy Horse and recorded Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere. The sessions went free and easy, like they are to this day. No rehearsals. Neil walks in with a song, then we jump in. We get it in one, two takes. After that, the feel, heart and emotion are lost. Any more takes, and now you're just playing a part. When you're young, there are no politics, nothing to get in the way. We just had fun playing- no thinking, just playing."

Heard 'Beast Of Burden' on the radio yesterday and it really stood out against all the pap so thought I'd give this a spin. Under-rated LP IMO.

The track “This is the one thing we did not want to happen” - a very interesting Joy Division mash up.

A REAL OLD SKOOL CLASSIC................... LOVE IT !!!!
I did see Eat Static a couple of times in the early 90s, which I believe were basically Ozric Tentacles going in a more electronic ravey direction.
Edit: Just bought that Ozrics one Mike was playing yesterday. On CD though - my days of spending 30 quid or so on "unknown" vinyl are over. Shame really, that album art looks like somewhere I used to visit occasionally ;)
I have seen both Eat Staric and the Ozrics a few times and, yes, Eat Static were a spin out from the Ozrics and actually toured at the same time as them.

Marilyn Manson - Mechanical Animals. The perfect blend of mixing Bowie & Numan with Glam and industrial Rock - POSITIVELY BRILLIANT!!
XTC - English settlement.

Been listening to this record since about 1982. Never get bored of it.
The cover picture always reminds me of that multi storey car park that Alf Roberts gets chucked off the top of in 'Get Carter.'
Been demolished now though.

1977 effort from Clapton. His usual mix of downbeat ballads, filler, and some decent stuff.
A couple of good ones there Martin.
Alf was a big man but he was out of shape, and Carter did this for a living.
Giving this another play but at a proper volume while I have the house to meself.

Another old one. I'll only be playing side one as Anita was losing the will to live.
