I just heard this album in it's entirety. The group is also called The Woodlands; a duo to be exact, a married couple from San Luis Obispo, California. This album is so special to me. It's one of the few capable of evoking so many complex emotions within me that it has been incorporated into my Top 5 albums of all time (genre not important). Hannah (vocalist) has such a tender sweet and heart-plucking voice that she brings beauty and gravitas to the music unlike I've ever heard before or could have imagined. If you haven't heard this album or group, I encourage you heavily to do so.
Cheers,
Chris.

Klaus Schulze - Body Love Vol.II..on his 67th birthday today..
Wire - Red Barked Tree.
Well recorded, some great bass. Fact 12s in their element. Just try Bad Worn Thing.
And it's a really good album. Wire just seem to maintain their own sound and keep it accessible.

O - Damien Rice
I feel with each passing day/month, I've grown to become more entranced with the steel acoustic guitar. Especially when it is performed in a way of the likes of Damien Rice. To throw on top of everything, the chap throws sincerity on top with tear-evoking vocals that sound like they are directed completely from the soul. Each track on this album is and can be emotional; something integral that goes beyond the music itself.
Philadelphia International Records 12' Singles

Introducing some of the best disco tracks from 76 & 83 fantastic.
Julia Fordham - Concrete Love

Andrei; Volcano is a beautiful piece. Your daughter showed you a magnificent artist. I only hope others would do the same so he may receive the attention he truly deserves. I have to claim perhaps The Blower's Daughter as my favorite. The most emotional piece in the album for me, however, has to be Cheers Darlin'. I've never heard a piece like it ever before.
Cheers,
Chris
To be honest i was a wee bit disappointed with 'O', i like the 'the blowers daughter' ( the track which made me buy 'o'), but the rest of the LP just didn't hit the spot.
