So is it DIY or do you pay someone to do it?

Either
I paid for it to be done, though you can do it yourself. It forms a hard barrier that protects the paint. Will last about 2 years or so. You dont need to wax the car any more, just wash it to keep clean, the coating acts like a permanent wax.
I like that idea, might get the bike done, come spring
Yeah worth doing imo.
I have done my last last 2 bikes. It lasted 3 years on the last bike. The bike takes about 10 minutes to wash and get a polished result.
Yo, Gaz! Firstly...
Who's Sofia? And I hope she's ok:)
*THAT* is one shexy looking set of wheels [and I don't just mean the wheels!:D] Best I've seen your car look by a country mile, mate:thumbsup:Quote:
Was getting Prodrive springs and dampers replaced, found out Mr Prodrive himself is re-manufacturing the parts from original drawings they used when Alfa Romeo asked them to to upgrade 500 standard Brera's for the UK market back in the day.
Less unsprung weight at each corner from much lighter 8C style 19"alloys, upgraded Eibach and Bilstein suspension system and more.
Less weight, much more grip and better feel.
Drives like she should now.
Not the fastest 4 wheels on the block or quickest off the traffic lights, but in your 50's, 130-odd mph is enough for anyone. :D
Goes down the road very quickly and makes a nice noise.
Plus has all the feelz...

Glad that the mods have hit the spot. That's what happens when you get things done RIGHT by professionals who *know* what they're doing! It was the same with my car, and simply results in releasing the latent performance and handling potential inherent in the car's design. Quite simply, there are no downsides.
Anyway, enjoy and get the most out of it mate, as you'd have to go some now to better it when/if you decide to change it!
All you need now is to install a killer sound system...:eyebrows:;)
Marco.
