2 of them still in the hiding stage?
Yep, they were at the time of the photos.
Ginger (Bobo) is now fully integrated and friendly, and brown & white (Rowlie) is slowly getting there.
Mine did the same when I first got him, about a week behind the couch. Then one day I had a friend around, we were chatting and out he came, purring away. The trick, I found, is just to leave them to it, don't bother them or try and coax them out. At some point they seem to realise the environment is safe. Funny things, cats.

How many does that make Jerry?
Here is our brute: a Norwegian Forrest cat that travels in a dog box...
I had a Forest cat years ago, he was lovely but very timid as he'd been badly treated by the previous owner.

They're lovely, I'd like another cat but my current one doesn't get on with other animals and has to be kept on her own. She's very sweet though.

I've never noticed cats really take an interest in the television until these big, flat screens came out. Friend showed me a picture she had taken clandestinely of the cat sat upright in an otherwise empty living room, right in front of the telly, watching zebras running across the veldt. Since learning this her husband now insists on leaving the television on for the cat when they go out.
Good point, Martin. Our three cats sit mesmerised in front of the TV, whenever a nature programme is on, especially the recent BBC one Big Cats!
I put that down to the superior resolution of today's UHD flat screen TVs, which just make everything look so much more lifelike :)
Marco.
Yes, I wonder if they might struggle to differentiate between the TV and a window? Must be a bit disappointing for them when they go outside and there are no zebras to catch.
Our menagerie. They all get on very well together, well apart from the cats which constantly fight. The dog pretty much just does his own thing. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...cb768a1b0c.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...1d9dc55d9f.jpg

Cute and getting big now
Looks a nice little pooch. :)
Youngest grand daughter with her new lurcher 'Teddy'. I met him for the first time when they arrived last night to stay for a few days. He's friendly, but a nut. Cleared the flight of stairs to the upstairs landing in two leaps .
