He wants the valves outside the chassis.
I did say he could've mounted the pcb upside down and made those connections very small lol.
Too late now.

Well that was the plan, [emoji848] so will have to rethink it. Its not a disaster as I can remount them on the pcb without to much hassle.

Think I might hook up as is to see what it sounds like and test the board etc. then remount the sockets and finish the case off . Nothing lost there as I haven't cut the ply yet. Just need to add some ventilation into it.
All part of learning anyway so it's fine by me.

Andy I would say try it first, there are some grid stoppers on the pcb.
You may get some instability with squeaks and noises. I think it would be OK to fit additional small value grid stoppers in the grid wires, I can advise as necessary.
Drilled and filed the back plate for the fittings. Will polish it up a bit some time [emoji846]https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...9b87b512d9.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d6bec90954.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...5b2c810c71.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...3cbf38b50d.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...087a57b34f.jpg
