Homemade Xmas decorations, made from hand-foraged wood/plants and recycled materials!
Some of Del's latest handiwork... A lovely Christmas garland, using tartan fabric from recycled pyjama bottoms, bits of wood (stripped and cleaned) and cones from the local woods:

Foraged bits and pieces ready to make the Christmas wreath, which we collected from the local parkland/woods on Sunday:

Our Christmassy front door...
Wreath now finished, plus Del decided to make up a garland for the porch. Think it came out well, when you consider that every aspect of its construction, other than the birds, which we bought from a garden centre, is homemade, using foraged or recycled materials:

Total cost £5 (for the birds)!

P.S In case anyone was wondering, the wooden box by the door isn't an urn, but rather storage for milk bottles!
