Hello..! Another Newby on the doorstep...
So, hi there to all you lovely folks in here...
... you may just be able to guess that my name is indeed Pete (or Peter, I'm too old to be fussed by which anyone uses).
Having read various threads in the past, I thought I ought to do the decent thing and sign up... I've always been interested in 'hifi', most of which has always been beyond my means. Thus in my main system - don't laugh too loud... - I'm still using my beloved Micro Seiki DD40 deck (purchased new in 1978) now with a Denon DL304 cartridge, going through a Musical Fidelity MX vinyl and XA-200 into ATC scm11s.
More old stuff in the dining room includes sony Walkman Pro (well why not?) or ipod etc connected to my old Cyrus 2 and Rogers LS3/5a...
In younger days I've done engineering, mechanics, despatch rider, car body repairs, various IT shit and now painting/decorating and church window restorations.
