Our flying ant day is sometime in late August. High up here you see. If the summer is poor it doesn't happen at all. If it does happen I have ants living under my house so I'll come back to hundreds of them in the porch. They all sod off out when I open the door though.
A chilly 17 in Adelaide, but it is the middle of winter.
Was 24C at 8am, now nudging 29C. God knows how hot it'll be by mid-afternoon, but I'm not looking forward to it.
Dry and warmer this morning, although cloudy at the moment
Warm here but blustery. Thunderstorms forecast for this evening, bet it doesn't happen.
33 degrees here in South Oxfordshire, a wee bit too hot for me...

It's rather lovely. Just a bit pipped off that it looks likely it goes "off the boil" for the weekend, then back again to being lovely! Typical...
