Hi Arthur,
You draw a Wackies style for your first card.......ok...... A side of that 12" is a Horace Andy....Money Money.....
So my first tune is Wayne Jarrett...who is a Horace soundalike......you MUST check the King Tubby's dub mix at 2:30......
BarBell label was Robbie Shakespear's of Sly & Robbie fame......
I will only post tunes that I own on vinyl.....

I tried following Beechwoods instructions to no avail so no visuals in the post...

What are Beechwoods instructions and who is she?
Next tune is Baby Why by The Cables which is the vocal version to the first 3 minutes your Roots & Soul tune. Studio One production from 1968.

Beechwood posted some instructions on embedding YouTube videos and is a He and not a She as far as I can guess:)
My friend and I were really wanting to know the answer to that. Cheers, he'll be well pleased.

To continue the Lee Perry connection, this is Be Thankful by Bunny Clarke from 1975.
The original is a soul tune by William DeVaughn called 'Be Thankful For What You Got'.

Next tune.......
Pablo gad early 80's business.......followed by a live recording of a Jah Shaka dropping the same tune on his sound system and rings it neck to get to best out of the tune......followed by Seventh Seal by Sound Iration.
I love the way he twists the basslines with a parametric eq.....

Watch out when Shaka REALLY drops the weight at 0:55. Headphones recommended when listening not some tinny speakers..........

Enjoy (or not as the case may be)!
love to see more videos from uk sound systems... don't know much about them. question: Can you rig lots of different speakers together to make a system all do they all have to be built or designed as a whole unit? Does inconsistency make an ugly sound? Or can it be magic?
