I put mine up on a “well known auction website” as they say.
I started them at £950 and only had one bid, although lots of stupid questions including one from a bloke who wanted to know if I’d got the start price wrong and could I correct it to £95 so he could bid, please?
The buyer was a very nice chap who owns 2060s and had been looking for a pair of 3090s for years - he borrowed an estate car and drove from Ipswich to Hampshire to collect them!

Yes, saw them on there, blinked and they were gone !. That maybe just might be the best 200 mile round trip he s ever made ;)
-
You must have caught them late, then as they were up on a standard auction for a week!
-
Oh right, was mistaken. 95 quid though, there s always some clown
-
£95? Must have thought (despite pictures showing the difference!!) that they were 'basic' Sandwiches?
Thanks for message Adam.
They ARE rare-I've only seen 2 sets go in years.

Latest fun on the Beobench is a work colleague's recently acquired B&O Beosystem 5000.
Beogram 5000 up first for a clean and service:

One pair of speakers is for review; the other is for the music for our annual neighbourhood summer party this weekend.
Now, which one was which.....?

Hmm, Elipson. Not seen any for years.

The look good - from the picture on the box, anyway. Is that there so people don't think they have bought a fridge freezer by accident?
