The Ghosts of RAF Kelstern 2019

I put together this montage on the afternoon of Saturday 8th June 2019 as a means of showing huge respect and empathy to the aircrew that never made it back to my home county of Lincolnshire. This was shot at the site of RAF Kelstern late in the day during September of 2016 and was merged with a shot of two Lancaster bombers shot during 2014.

With the recent media surrounding the Normandy Landings and the anniversary I thought I'd do my bit in remembrance.

"Here's some of your chums from last Thursday, shot down in their prime over Rome, the boys who can never go home"

Utterly stunning, as usual, Shaun! I'd actually love to see that image in monochrome, which I think could make it more atmospheric:)
