Manchester City's pre season is not entirely fooked, although it could be construed as such.
There are a ton of players that have only just finished with their World Cup adventures.
They're all on leave for three weeks, which is approximately how long it will be until the Community Shield game takes place at Wembley.
Good grief - we're playing Arsenal the following weekend, at The Emirates
Indeed, it's difficult, but try having players coming back from World Cup duty AND having to play FOUR Champions League qualifiers, even when you won your league, and mostly all before the season starts!!
Compared with us, you've got it easy...;)
This could be an interesting signing for us, if it comes off :https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/footb...de-arrascaeta/
Marco.
rangers have their away tie in round one of the europa today.. starts at 5pm i think, so it will be very hot. hopefully they can get the job done; an early goal would do nicely but feel it may be a slog
Yeah, good luck in that one, mate. I'm sure you'll be fine:)
Marco.
Well through to the next round, lots of missed chances again
Overall, can be happy with the clean sheet and the overall result, if not the play. Not much to get excited about play wise, but there is a lot of anxiety in the side at moment, and a lack of ability up front.
Sure Gerrard knows this fully, and hopeful we get some new players in up top soon. El Buffalo will become a good player, but he is way to anxious at moment.....and has a heid like a thrupenny bit
How's this for an unrepresentative squad for a US pre-season tour https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44859112 ?
Lol. Shows strength in depth as few will get a game in league
