Edingdales
Mk1 Edingdales in oak. They are in fabulous condition and come with magnetic grilles and spikes , having brought these last week from Aos these are back up for sale as they dont suite my décor and my amp being 80w class A is not an Absolute first choice for them but still superb , speakers being 95db sen 8ohm load they are very suitable but not limited to low powered valve amps , i think Simon (Ashmore)having owned them all there life used an 8w 300b set amp on them throughout , rare very well thought of speakers that give a wonderful detailed bass mid range and treble that disappear into the room with a holographical soundstage , easy to place and work well in medium and large rooms (some even said small rooms ) these are big 3 way floor standing speakers ,dimensions:240mm Wide , 430mm Deep , 1130mm High ,front ported , adjustable ribbon hf unit , no boxes so collection PL329PS , or a meet up is the only option , £750 .

shame they didnt suit your decor.. good speaks.. i'd only sell mine if i was giving up on a system.
-
How would one characterise the sound of these?
-
very holographical 3 d sound stage , they disappear , colorful warm sounding , bass has wonderful detail as do the mids , which is a great trick combining detail with warmth , i am sure many people on AOS can add there input as they have a lot of love , Chris.

I’m very tempted, but unless my AirPulse speakers sell it’s not quite the time for me to buy currently.
Beautiful speakers that would be perfect in my system.
-
ime in no rush here as they sound very good with my 80w A class Amp its just at 95db sen into 8 ohms i feel a more suitable option would be lovely glowing lamps , if they suited my décor , i would indeed invest in one in fact have been offered a nice one in exchange for mine on the wam but the misses is still moaning lol .

I’m the other end of the spectrum with 250wrms per channel from my Bel Canto - but I’m sure they’ll sound equally excellent on the end of that.
I’ll keep an eye on these. :)

I believe the builder of these did indeed design these with the idea of running them off of 300B set amps but he himself now uses some high power solid state mono blocks.
I now own Colins 300B mono blocks along with a beautiful pair of Edingdale’s. I’m very happy.

Colin has my 300B SET as well.
