Nice!
Here's one some may find interesting; a Bulova Accutron Tuning Fork watch. Pre-digital it requires a 1.35 battery or 3v to 1.35v converter module to run. It makes a high pitched buzzzzzzzzzzzzzz when running that you (well me!) can only hear with it pressed against my ear. The hands are set by the wheel on the back of the watch, it's an 'M6' so dates from 1966...

I have a Bulova watch, but mine uses a quartz mechanism. It has a square case, gold dial and a black patent leather strap, though the hands are set with the usual wheel on the right hand side of the case. I wear it with my dinner jacket, on those occasions that warrant it.
Thanks Barry...just what I was after..a simple no nonsense dress watch...that pic i put up was from my pals mobile phone...I've spent a couple of hours on it...had it to bits for a clean up...a new strap and polished out the Plexi Glass...this is how it actually looks....better than i expected

Although I have a couple of half decent watches I've always fancied something of real quality. The problem I have is that I have huge wrists, I mean HUGE. When I sprained my wrist I had to use a brace meant for a woman's ankle. I've never found a leather strap long enough and it gets difficult have a bracelet extended that much. Perhaps I should investigate a quality pocket watch lol.
