Quirky audio gizmo's.
Couldn't put this elsewhere it's hardly hi-fi.:mental:
Bought from a local charity shop, it's an iPig, otherwise known as an Amethyst AIP phone dock.

It is an iPhone dock, not that I have an iPhone as I consider them totally overpriced bling.
Anyway it all works, there is a 2x 4W amp for the front speakers (eyes) plus the piezo tweeters under the ears, plus a 15W amp for the bottom woofer.

I noticed the 'ears' have a V- and V+ marking on them, there are built in proximity sensors so you touch each ear to adjust the volume and the illuminated mouth flashes to show volume adjustment. Simple things eh?

A quick look inside and it reveals the mouth is also the exit for the woofer port.
It is 12V powered so could come in useful for mp3 player or phone audio in the campervan.
From short research it looks like these were possibly £75 when new, quite a few on fleabay for a tenner or more.
Price from the charity shop, less psu, £1.

I believe the amplifier has a fair bit of 'grunt'.
