That's assuming that two weeks on it had anything to do with the flu jab at all. I've been having the jab for over ten years and have never experienced any after effects of any kind. It's a sight better than catching a full on dose of flu.
Unlike the shingles jab I had a week or so ago, which is still red and itchy.
Hope you don't get it either. I don't intend finding out any time soon. I seem to have a pretty strong constitution and good immune system. However, as you get older you're less able to fight off such things, and real flu in an older person can be a very serious matter.
So.... I might treat myself to wee jab-ette for my 70th birthday!:D
Marco.
shingles is a bugger, so its worth putting up with a bit of a sore arm i think.. something like 10/15% get a reaction apparently so you been unlucky.
The only symptoms I have had are very slight rise in temperature and a sort of metallic taste in my mouth for an hour or so other than that all good , And the best part is its free , Good old NHS :)
Had mine a couple of weeks back. Have had them for five years or so, never had any adverse effects from needle or contents thereof.
Well, apparently the serum used for flu jabs is similar to that applied in penis enlargement, so next time you're there, pop out your flaccid two-inches, and see if the nurse can 'assist'...:eyebrows:
