My names Neil and I’m a headphone addict

Hi all, as the title say I’m Neil and the other part is what the wife calls me. I’ve got Meze 99 classics in Walnut and Silver, Phillips SHP9500’s modified to take Shure 940 pads, RHA T20 iem’s and my favourite Hifiman HE400i’s. the RHA’s get run from a Cyrus Soundkey attached to a Pixel 2xl and the rest get run from an SMSL Sanskrit 6th powered by an ifi power supply running into an Arcam Rhead amp.

Audio Tecnica ATH MSR7
And a few other bits and pieces 😀

They don’t get as much love these days though

I should also have mentioned what kind of music I’m into but the real answer is good music. I grew up with classical and rock but I’m genre agnostic, a good tune is a good tune.

Hi Neil I've got a few headphones and amps. Enjoyed my time with the 400i's. Am currently working through selling the stuff I don't need. Sold 3 little dot amps and about 5 pairs of headphones so far inc Hifiman HE6's! Will list what I've got later, but currently enjoying my LCD3s [emoji16]

Welcome- good to know I'm not the only music nutter in the area !

I've also got more pairs of headphones than I can remember. The problem with them is that I use them in the living room so my wife always knows when I've bought a new pair. With HiFi stuff I can be far more discreet because it's in a separate room and black boxes generally look alike.

Sounds like you have a good selection of cans there though.

Sadly I'm not a headphone lover, though I still have a couple of pairs of Koss kicking around the place, and I do use a pair of Sonys with my PC. But glad to hear you have embraced and are happy to use them.

Agree with you about being a "genre agnostic" though.
