Had to look up keen in the dictionary. If it is not only "engaged" but also a little bit knowledgable I would be pleased.

That's interesting Andy. I have visited this site several times, as I like vintage speaker units, as does our Grant (struth), who is running a pair of sixty year old 250mm Telefunken units. I have some Philips and Isophon full range speaker drivers. I like Japanese full range speakers too.
Sorry for the tardiness of my welcome Andy/ welcome to AoS mate/ Lot of vintage audio lovers here, and as Geoff say I have some Telefunken L242 alnico units. Nice gear and am on the look out for another 1 as I have a spare driver so I can make up another set some day.
anyways, enjoy the forum and hope to see some of your posts in future
I like the look of the equipment on your homepage. Welcome AOS !!!
Willkommen Andy.
Had to look up tardiness in the dictionary first and then had a look at the Telefunken L242 speaker units
as seen on E**y 261939229694 for instance. These are in fact made by Isophon Berlin with Telefunken
OEM logo (see the typical basket and typical magnet structure). It does not mean a bad thing but so it is
manufactured at a time when Telefunken closed down their own speaker dept. It will not be easy to find
another one, but it is possible on german E**y. Isophon has been the main supplier for german radio
companies.
In the meantime the message function is activated ..
Hello and welcome Andy.
Geoff.
Gentlemen, probably anybody has a single or pair of these incredible speakers for sale?
Also looking for the Radford which we had in use in our company in the past. Thank you.
And again - happy new year of course.
Still looking for the venerable Radford and a single Goodmans Axiom 350
(would love to listen to this one in stereo)
And if anybody is in need of vintage parts or spares of german origin please
let me know..
A.
