A UK made film, this was quite successful and both Moore and Marvin enjoyed getting drunk together. I wouldnt like to have picked up the tab.

Just played the last 30 minutes of Re-Animator (1985), that was on The Horror Channel last night, since I really needed to catch up on some sleep.
Surprisingly it wasn't edited to death for the small screen.
The Searchers, 1956. Stars John Wayne, Natalie Wood, Jeffrey Hunter and Ken Curtis. Directed by John Ford.

The John Ford "Stock Company" as per usual provided many of the actors and was filmed in Monument Valley mostly.
Although its not been stated many believe this was based on 1836 kidnapping of nine-year-old Cynthia Ann Parker by Comanche warriors in Texas. She was rescued (against her will) 24 years later after she married a war cheif and had 3 children.
Classed rightly as one of the "great" westerns
The Birds, 1963. Hitchcock again with this classic.

Did fairly well at the box office and had mixed critical reviews. Tippi Hedren said Hitch abused her in several ways.
