No goes to 12 I think. Last one wasn't v good but 10+11 were excellent

The final episode had them back on Earth looking for the story's author (Grant / Naylor); having realised that their existence depended wholly on being written about. They couldn't find the author but found out that they could write the future for themselves. I think it ends with Lister talking to camera with words to the effect of: "Thanks, but goodbye - we don't need you now".
