14C and slightly misty. Expected to be a nice sunny day today, reaching a maximum of 21C, and free from rain.
A decent start to the day. Mild, clear and sunny. No wind.
Rain all night but clear skies now. A little warmer than recent mornings.
12c and dry just now.
October already! That's depressing. At least we're starting off with some nice weather. Sunny, no wind, 13C.
Blazing sunshine here now, in-room temperature has gone up 1 degree in the past 15 minutes.
We've decided to take advantage of the sunny weather and have a drive down to Southport, where we will take a walk down the long road there, like all the other old folks.
There is an 'emporium' there, which includes a couple of stalls selling secondhand records and CDs. Not been there for about ten years. They were pretty cheap back then, it'll be interesting to see what their prices are like now.
Not true, dude, there will also be plenty of crisp winter mornings, where the sun is shining, and which I love - and in the evenings candles are lit and we snuggle down in front of the wood burner, and the room's nice and cosy. You can't do that in the summer months:)
Marco (loves all the seasons for what they are).
Lol... That's one place we intend on visiting now Del and I are retired:)
Marco.
It's a fairly long flight, but worth it.
Did you say you had a relative on St Lucia? Not been to that one but all the Leeward Isles are pretty much the same for terrain and climate.
Antigua and Barbados are a bit too touristy. The one I recommend is this:

Looks nice... I'd probably have to go in the 'cool' season, though:)
Yeah, Del's cousin lives in St Lucia, but she's selling up and moving back to Germany.
Marco.
Lol.... There are plenty of other places we also want to visit, so we'll see how it goes. There are always hotels, such as Martin has listed.
Marco.
Bit of a damp night, and likely to be rainy for most of the day, max temps 18C. Might get some thunder this afternoon with a bit of luck.
Wet night but 13c and dry just night.
Around eight hours to St Lucia via a very civilised BA premium economy flight with seven inches of extra legroom (I’m. 5’ 11’ and could have my legs straight out in front of me). Food and booze included to [emoji846].
Plenty of films and tv available on their system to and a proper pair of on ear headphones.
I’ve stayed at Aruba, Barbados, Jamaica and St Lucia and visited half a dozen others on a cruise and St Lucia remains my favourite and you can’t go far wrong staying at a Sandals adults only resort.
Yeah it's not too bad, I just hate flying even in business class and even if I have loads of legroom. It's just constant misery for me. I would always go in the airport bookshop and buy the thickest non-fiction book they had (which was usually something about UFOs or Atlantis :)) and that would distract me for about half the flight.
I can't watch TV or films on those tiny little screens. I liked it better in the old days when they had a proper cinema screen and we all watched the same thing. And you could smoke!

Screen size these days is a dizzying twelve inches! I find the experience quite immersive with decent loud headphones and being so close to the screen.
I agree, save I don't watch the videos, I just listen to the amazing choice of music on offer. Or sleep!
13C rising to 21C later. Cloudy, with some chance of rain tonight.
Feels chilly, dry and brightening though. I gather it may rain later.
Dunno whether to do the boot sale today or not, it may overlap with other exploits. And anyway, I'm due for my annual Flu and Covid jabs lunchtime. Whoopee! :D
10C but set to be sunny all day.
Cloudy 9c and dry but rain due.
Sunny, with bright blue skies, and 14°C.
Marco.
A cool 12C and mainly clear, looks like it may be a decent day.
Only 7C here but going to be a sunny day again.
Same here, but warmer at 13°C.
Marco.
A very wet 13c this morning.
Went to car boot this morning, and 9C, which caught me out a bit, as I'd left the house in just a t shirt. Bit of walking round soon warms you up though. Got a few CDs off a bloke who owned around 20,000 CDs (showed me pics of his shelving), and was just selling off some of his duplicates.
Even though they took up an entire wall in his house, he did say he'll never do streaming while he's got a hole in his arse (his words). "I'm not paying someone else for permission to play their tunes!" Sounds familiar.
Forecast to get to 22c with sunny spells this afternoon, which is a bit barmy for October! Cools down from Wednesday though, with heavy rain and a more typical 14c and then hovers around mid to late teens for the next couple of weeks. We still need plenty of rain - the pond in the next door farm must be 2ft lower than it was last year.
Still wet and 14c so far.
Sunny, blue skies. So much for the forecast.
It was sunny earlier, but gone a bit dullsville now... 20°C.
Marco.
The day started rainy, then dull but dry, now sunny. Quite warm too.
16C and dull. Don't know if the rest of the day will be similarly unremarkable.
11c and dry so far but very cloudy.
Dull start here but slowly brightening up. High is supposed to be 19C.
Misty drizzle here. Mizzle.
