The first day of Autumn; the "season of mists and mellow fruitfulness".

12C aiming for 20. Probably going to be dry today.
Cloudless sky this morning, but it won't last. Some rain expected around teatime.
Chucking it down since last night and 12c.
Bright and sunny, and 17°C. Might get a little rain later.
Marco.
Dry, with mostly clear sky, not particularly chilly.
16C and partially cloudy. Not expected to rain. Will reach 21C later in the day.
Raining here and only 14C. Forecast to carry on all day and night.
No rain here yet, but it's on the way.
Dry so far, not particularly chilly. No outside thermometer at the moment, so temperatures would be a guess.
After a very wet day and night yesterday, 13c and again wet
went out as it was only drizzle and about half way round it stopped altogether but I think it's just temporary.
Pissing down here, which is fine, and 17°C.
Marco.
Chucking it down here for most of the day and making the bloody hedges grow! :(
It also chucked it down last Saturday, which was the Saturday of our summer party which we hold every year for friends and family - pretty much the first day of rain here after three months of heatwave and drought. I may have been slightly grumpy and only regained my usual cheery demeanour after the second pint of good stuff from the local brewery!
Dry, dull and not exactly warm.
Dry and sunny, if a little cloudy, here in Wrexham. 20°C°.
Marco.
been for a walk, actually some sunshine here although it's in and out.
Saw a giant squirrel and, even more amazingly, a diesel Skoda Octavia that wasn't a taxi.
Back to the office today, unfortunately. Light cloud and 23c, may get a bit of sun later. Weekend looks good - 26c and sunny on Sunday.
Glasgow taxis all seemed to be Toyota Corolla hybrid estates, I guess because of the Low Emissions Zone in the centre - we weren’t even allowed in due to the age of our diesel Nissan not meeting the required Euro rating. Had to park 2 miles away for the wedding, paid for it with two massive blisters on my heals, and it wasn’t even new shoes.
A cloudy 16c so far today.
Yeah, I been down here since 2000...
Marco.
12C and raining (at long last!). Rain expected to ease off mid afternoon.
Been raining heavily all night - I know because it woke me up a couple of times.
Still going now but supposed to turn dry and sunny in a bit.
Bins day today - blue for recycling, brown for paper/cardboard and grey for garden waste.
Our occasional gardener helpfully left all the conifer and shrub cuttings in a tonne bag on the drive, which this morning I had to decant into the wheely bins. To make it worse it's bin raining all night. And I've not even had my porridge yet. I should have done it yesterday.
Bin there, done that.
I'm not at all organised this week, too much crap going on.
I went to make my porridge, only to find we didn't have enough milk, and forgot to buy more. Oh well, I'll have some toast. No I won't, the bread's gone mouldy :( Anita never eats bread, and I've cut down a lot. And I've been too busy earning a crust to notice the developing science project in the bread bin.
Back on topic it's been raining all night, and currently spitting. Going to get windy later.
Have you ever thought about getting your milk (and bread) delivered? There's bound to be a dairy near you who would do it. Look what I found: https://www.facebook.com/rbrethertonmilk/?locale=en_GB
That's what we do, and so never have to think about milk:)
Marco.
Rained last night, stopped now. Dull and overcast, 17°C.
Marco.
A very wet night and still raining 13c.
Stayed dry all day, but might get some rain later and through the night. BBC Weather on the telly said Sunday will be nice but BBC Weather on my laptop says much of Sunday will be wet. I don't know why I bother with them.
Sounds like the perfect holiday destination :) And as we have our own version of the Schengen agreement, I won't even need to renew my passport. One thing though, can you get English food there, I don't want any of that foreign muck...
Actually the sun has just come out, so I've put my travel plans on hold.
14C and sunny. Will reach 22C later and remain rain free.
Blazing sunshine here but it's forecast to cloud over by 0900.
Nice and sunny here, and 18°C.
Marco.
Clouded over now as predicted.
We're getting identical weather...
Marco.
Blue sky, cloud, shower, blue sky, cloud, shower, blue sky...
Back to being sunny again.
Had the couch out to hoover behind it, found five quid in change. Reckon it took me twenty minutes to do the job so that's fifteen quid an hour tax free.
Sounds like it could be a business opportunity - self employed couch hooverer, competitive rates :)
Also found a Slazenger sweatshirt that had somehow fallen behind there. Maybe an answer to where my clothes keep disappearing to except there was nothing else.
15c and dry so far
Started off cool. Now pretty warm and sunny.
(Note to self, get another thermometer for outside!)
