I have fount the Twitter updates very useful to see where they are up to with the orders. Once you search on the company IQ Audio you can view all their individual tweets. I do question why it's taken 2 months for this product to come back into stock. Also if it's manufactured, sold and sent from Scotland why we had to pay in U.S. $. If you have a great product with demand generated by word of mouth I would be ramping up production.

That's fair enough, Stephen, if you're aware of that fact and inclined to do what you've suggested.

However, call me 'selfish', but I'm more familiar with the process of a company selling goods coming to inform me about their products, than me having to go and search for that information myself, especially when said company is a registered trader here.

Tindie is a very good platform for selling goods, it's got world wide advantages so that's why it's in Dollars. It's also most probably cheaper than using ebay which is considered pikey these days.

My IQaudio DAC has been shipped. Just got confirmation email with tracking code.
It will be here in 3 work days. So next Monday.

Then, let the games begin. I am going to start pc vs. Rbpie testing.
Pc is running 5-7 year old pro audio cards + JRiver

And I'm number 27819 so we should be getting the boards at roughly the same time. I predict chaos in all of us trying to get the damn things running :-)

For instance I've just found out how hard it is to create a working image of Volumio on a micro SD card if you only have a chromebook to work from. There are guides for Windows, Mac and Linux but Chrome OS?? Oh well, I knew this was a project rather than an out of the box solution.
