Yes, even with the water damage they are worth having. Looks like the bass drivers are affected as well and likely need reconing. A good few quid's worth of bits there though, the compression drivers, horns and lenses have to be worth a couple of hundred. Not my favourite JBL, very coloured, I've heard them a good few times.Quote:

Bass drivers look fine to me. They are LE15b's which have corrugated surrounds rather than foam but they were not one of JBL's best ( actually bloody awful) and are responsible for the colouration you mention.Quote:

Been playing with this since I picked it up the other day. It sounds bloody amazing for what is I suppose a multimedia system. I'm feeding it with a Meridian 507 and it's not disgraced itself at all. Room fillingly loud and clean with proper bass. Great little thing. :)Quote:
