I actually prefer the Eaton's HPD295A tonally, to the Cheviot/Devon HPD315. It just seems to sound sweeter for some reason.
I'm always stunned by the sound of the Eatons. My Berkeleys are currently deconstructed so listening to the Eatons currently. Loads of texture, definition and outright engagement.

Agreed! I lived with a pair of Lowther Acoustas with the PM6 drivers for a couple of years. Superb attack and sensitivity, but coloured as tomato soup, with an abrupt low frequency cut-off.Quote:
