The original 60's Addams family were really all weird; brilliant casting. john astin was a good actor; jackie coogan was a millionaire as a child actor. big ted cassidy; well what can you say but what a lurch.:D carolyn jones was very attractive, even in her black spooky outfit..

as of course was Yvonne De Carlo in the munsters.. interesting that the shows both started around same time too .. again it was excellent casting.

I can only remember the TV series with Raul Julia as Gomez, Anjelica Huston as Morticia, and Christopher Lloyd as Uncle Fester.

Preferred the Adams Family to the Munsters, but they were both watchable.

yeah i think overall it was better, although not much in it. think astin really held the key to it; writing was just a bit cookier too.
