Kevin, some of yours a looking good, too! Could you do me a favour though, and take a picture of your next coffee inside a plain white cup? It's just that your crema looks rather browny in colour, instead of yellowy orange, as it should be, and I think it's probably the cup you're using making it look darker than it actually is:)

To me, the crema looks fine. It is probably just the lighting (no flash).

Yeah I saw that picture... Still looks brown there. Like Grant says, it could be the light. Would still like to see another coffee though, inside a cup with a plain white inner:)

In my opinion, Crema should be brown.

Lol - I don't get any crema, daftee, as I'm using a Moka pot. I'm judging between yours and Grant's, oh and also the 1000s of espressos I've had all over Europe so far, which have always had yellowy-orange cremas;)

Yes, there's some brown in them too, but not muddy like yours - sorry... I'm sure it tastes great though, which is all that matters. Plus, it might also be down to the beans you're using:)

Yes, there's brown there, but it looks quite different from your crema, Kevin. It's the layering of all the different colour shades, which makes it look so good.

That is not going to happen, as the one pictured was almost the last of the Brazilian beans I bought locally.
I am now on to something else, and the Crema will be different.
