 You'll have to enlighten me, I don't watch Nickelodeon :)
Edit: no need, just came to me. At times like this my failing memory worries me. But if I give it ten minutes I won't remember what I was worrying about...

hitchhikers?? not a program i watched much but caught some of it. the dwarf was my weakness and still is lol
it's a book, radio series, TV series and I think a film :)
Frankie and Benji were actually two hyper intelligent pan galactic beings who took on the form of mice to control /observe the earth (which was really a computer program designed to find the ultimate question to which the answer was 42)
EDIT - I'm a bit of a nerd, I also have original radio series on BBC cassettes and LP records :)
the book is well worth a read, the tv show is okay, the film is diabolically bad.
never heard the radio show.
Not sure what you're all on about, but I do have a cousin called Ford Prefect :).
we are deffo on hitchhikers. sure ive got the audiobook.. was stephen fry who read it.
IIRC the trailer showed the one funny bit in the entire film, as they so often do.
What they did was take out everything from the book that made it funny, then added a load of stuff that isn't funny at all. Similar to what the BBC do when they get a show that becomes popular. Because they don't understand the reasons why the show got popular in the first place.
BBC have a history of hitting upon something that proves popular, then keep battering the formula long after it's died. Examples being Are You Being Served, Last of the Summer Wine and Silent Witness.
