As little as humanly possible. I tend to buy things that occassionally need a very light go over with my cordless iron. I hate ironing shirts and tend to buy more the casual winter or linen shirts that dont need much if any ironing. There is plenty of acceptable clothing that doesnt need a sharp crease pressing in the tousers etc.Quote:

I think the dress suits and shirt should be a thing of the past. I dont do business with someone because they are wearing a tie. Started to snow here - for about ten minutes!
Bloody freezing here but sky is clear. Had to go to bed last night just to get warm. My house ceases to function as an adequate form of shelter once the temperature drops below about 4 degrees C.
Never usually this cold this early in the season; doesn't bode well for January and February.
It was damn brisk when I took the dog round the park earlier. By far the coldest day of the season so far.
Makes me wonder how the original occupants of my house managed back in 1901. It was colder then (allegedly) and they didn't have the benefit of double glazing or man-made fibres. It's a wonder they survived the night.
Always found the best way to warm up is go for a good walk to get the blood circulating. Trouble was this morning was so cold it took quite a good deal of walking
for that theory to kick in. Another thing is as the years go by you feel the cold more I m afraid!
