Are you just using the DVD player as a transport Martin?
Night and day mate. And the fur round the hood is detachable so there's the option of deploying it without but not experimented with that yet. But veils were lifted. Well, hoods anyway.Quote:

Tried the Pioneer as a transport but can't get a peep out of it. Either my digital cable is broken or I need to play about with the menu settings in the Pioneer. Which means hooking it up to a screen. Maybe later...
Bought an Oppo Universal player to replace the Pioneer. Here it is in the rack. Not had a serious listen to it yet:
