good fun this, and the 2 stars are ably assisted by a good cast.(preposerous story mind);)
The film was a big hit and Grant wisely arranged it that he ended up netting about $3m for his services.. his highest payday to that date

Nothing on last night at all so decided to watch a Christmas film, choice between 'Die Hard' and 'Zulu!'

Might watch 'Zulu!' tonight, although traditionally it should be viewed on Boxing Day when there should at least be one film that's all stirring and Imperial. Other valid options include 'The Four Feathers', 'Zulu Dawn', 'Young Winston', 'The Man Who Would Be King', or one of the 'Bridges' films either the one that's on the Kwai or the one that's too far. Not 'The Bridges At Toko Rei' though, too American.
This one appeals to me - I did an IMDB on Armando Iannucci, and he has some impressive credentials with political satire. And I do like stuff with paddy Considine :)Quote:
