He walked around on it for about 10 days and wondered why it wasn't getting any better so his doc told him to go to the, rather aptly named, 'walk-in centre' at the local hospital where an x-ray showed the crack. I'd been telling him to go since he did it but he always knows best :doh:
Now it's all strapped up and he's on crutches and seeing the fracture clinic in a week or so. From what I've read it doesn't heal that quickly so he is really peeved that he can't cycle for at least 8 weeks which is a shame as he just bought his 4th bike, his 3rd carbon jobby
Oh dear, four bikes, one leg, life is harsh. :(
No-one makes a bike for one-legged people then? Gap in the market there.

You can ride a normal bike with one leg if you strap it to the pedal - assuming you have a foot on the end of the leg, or at least a knee and a bit of a stump.Quote:
