The Sidewalks Of London,AKA St Martin's Lane, 1938. Directed by Tim Whelan.
Stars Charles Laughton, Vivien Leigh, Rex Harrison, Larry Adler and Tyrone Guthrie.

The film was produced in a widescreen 2.40:1 aspect ratio, to distinguish it from the look of the television series, and colored with the largest palette the animators ever had available to them. A lot of the animation was produced using Wacom Cintiq tablets, which allowed images to be drawn directly onto a computer monitor to facilitate production.

The film was a financial success and had mixed critical reviews. One of my favorite films of the genre tho, so stuff the critics;)
