Every time I decorate, I have to repair damage caused by 'overdoor hooks' that the family use. They are now banned in my house!
They are truly awful, they only work with badly fitted doors.
Bought myself this camera last night. Looks in great condition.

Olympus SP-590 UZ. It will hopefully replace the older SP-550 UZ that I already own and is a very good 'all rounder'.
The bump up in resolution from 7.1mp to 12.0mp should be handy, although the images from the SP-550UZ are very good.
Something will have to be sold now. Seven digital cameras are too many! :)
No doubt. They don't make 'em like they used to! You've seen these before, and they're over 130 years old. The original stained glass Victorian doors in our kitchen and bathroom:

Marco.
I've just sat through an episode of 'Sixty Minute Makeover'.
The "before" shot of the living room showed it to be ok, perhaps a little dated, and included some floorstanders and some surround speakers. The system itself wasn't in the shot.
In the "after" shot all the speakers had been removed, leaving only the telly. And the stuff didn't seem to be in any of the other rooms. How is that an improvement? If it were my house and I came home to that, I'd be using my size 10's to help Teri and her paint-monkeys to find the door.
At least they left the telly.
Well it arrived this morning. Seems in nice condition.
Took this shot at about fifty yards on full tele zoom:

And one of the pooch at about ten feet:

They look decent enough. :)
