Andrew to Julian - 'No sweat mate.'
hey ho and up she rises, early in the morning :)
Evening all!! Been absent for a long while ,but having regualr covid arguements with loons on my other forum made we yearn for a quieter place!!
I am 4 and a half weeks into a total hip replacement so only really starting to feel human again after a fair few months (or years) hobbling around and feeling grumpy !!
The one thing that has been a god send to me ,both in hospital and at home is the I Pod classic that my daughter left when she move out !!
I recharged it , formatted it and spent a few days putting nearly all my cd,s onto it !!
Woo.
It has the facility to play songs by title ,so effectively mixing up and playing songs , all 4 hundred or so , randomly ,or select an album !! And because I bought the Yamaha CD 3200?? can recall the proper number now ,but it links into the usb slot provided and I can either listen on the move or play through the cd player Apple Lossless
Very old school to all you Spotify users etc but what a great thing the Classic was (once you get the hang of the controls !!)
Nice to be back - hope I havent missed much !!??;)
Hi Anto. Hope your hip settles down.
plenty of covid conspiracy theories here
Old school? My last (and only) portable music player was a Sony Walkman which played cassettes!
The Forum has been quiet of late, though we have a Covid page where there have been some 'robust' views expressed.
Glad to see you back and trust you quickly recover from your hip operation; enough for you to enjoy Christmas .
Good to see you back.
