A year or more ago, I would have agreed. But they are very thin on the ground now. There was a dud one with a £200 asking price not long ago. When you think about it, a good ADC, although sounding different, ranks alongside the vintage Deccas and Ortofons for sheer sound quality and those command big money now.Quote:

It would have cost a bomb. But the tuner and tape decks are practically worthless - £200 for the lot, £50 for the digital processor, maybe £500 for the power amp and CDP. Speakers a couple of hundred, tops. Realistically the whole caboodle isn't worth more than 2 grand.Quote:
