Lol - different type of film, mate. And I'm also a fan of classic war films (and westerns)!:)
Granty doesn't post enough about those, and concentrates too much instead on boring rom-coms or dodgy American comedies instead!:ner:;)
Marco.
Video disc - wossat when it's at home?;)
If you like the film then why not buy the Bluray and have your own copy of it? And don't you subscribe to Netflix, Sky movies, or some such? Don't tell me you're too much of a tightwad!:ner:
Yes, I like a good story too, but I also like being entertained by 'action'. Films that have too much 'talking' in them, without much action, just bore me to tears. And as for comedies, I only really 'do' the black variety. 'Family friendly' stuff just turns me off, as it's almost always too much of a cheese fest!:doh:
Marco.
DVD = Digital Video Disc.
Don't know why I didn't just type "DVD": it would have taken fewer key strokes. :doh:
Indeed, lol... DVDs are rather old hat now, mate. You really want Blurays - and if you don't have a bluray player, then get one. Blurays, especially the 4k variety, make DVDs look nearly as soft and fuzzy as tape!;)
Marco.
Excellent, so why would you bother buying inferior DVDs? Get the bloody Blurays instead!:ner::ner:
Any decent film now is released on Bluray - and the 4K versions are the cream of the crop.
