Well we did agree it would be a backseat project for him so I don't feel right about mithering him all the time. I did last e-mail him back at the start of December. But you could remind him I've got a bag of sand here waiting for him when he delivers!

My partner is somewhat surprised if not aghast at the amount of audio equipment I have, and since much of it is of a professional standard in both performance and appearance, it can make the corner of my living/listening room look at times like the corner of a laboratory.

there is backseat project and fuck it project tho too.. been on go for a year or so, or it seems that way.. he is not building a yacht. at very least he could just say, sorry i cant fit it in

My 'live in' lady of the house seems to be okay with subtle black boxes with knobs on them . . . . giant transformers with hot breakable tubes nearby, not so much.

Speakers are a different kettle of moaning, no interest in sound quality, fish however. Especially electrostatics . . . They need their own houses. A solution which I've been offered but I've been assured it would just be me and them. Hmmmm . . .

He's bought the plywood and had it all cut into the correct panel sizes. So as things stand he's considerably out of pocket and I've not paid out a penny yet. If I had paid the money up front then I'd push a little harder, obviously.

I bought the drivers in Feb 2018, it was November 2018 when I commissioned the cabinet build. Tempus fugit.
