Must be the "high end" of the bottom! They were made by Goodmans actually and probably sound OK for a budget speaker.

A decent looking pair of quite rare Tannoy Audiometric speakers. These are NOT dual concentrics, they have a 12" bass driver and a 2" pressure unit (tweeter). In Liverpool.
What's the betting somebody pays silly money for them thinking they've got themselves a great pair of classic Tannoys. Personally I'd say anybody paying more than £100 would be daft. They might just be worth having for the Chatsworth 'lookalike' cabinets I suppose.

I've just got back with the 44's, set them up & made a cuppa... Initial impressions are good :D Bottom ends a bit "full on" but I have been using Kytes for the past week so my judgement is off...
