I'd take a punt on it for a fiver but that price is just plain daft. There were lots of nice early transistor amps & pretty much all of them are well documented... That thing probably sounds as crap as it looks.

^ that is just stoopid bidding, i would pay £80 tops but then it would have to be mint condition imho
Agreed! It's standing at £204 at the moment - expect it will go for £250, which as André has said is just "stoopid bidding".
£750 starting bid for this little shit. What a joke!!!!!!

Slightly OT, but is anyone having still any issues using eBay with Chrome? With me the main culprit is My eBay. Chrome either says it can't find the page or it loads with the formatting all screwed up. Reloading the page seems to make no difference.
The guy seems a twat (hope he's not an AOS member and reading this. He He ).
It'll be interesting to see what this one fetches in comparison: http://theartofsound.net/forum/showt...618#post480618
Don't know if anyone in the area would be interested but I saw a pair of Townsend Glastonbury speakers in a charity shop in Penzance this afternoon for £100ono.... Only catch is both ribbon tweeters are damaged [looks like a child has thrust a Biro into them :(]
