Ever since 'Red Dwarf', I wouldn't countenance ever purchasing a "Smeg" fridge. Can you imagine opening a bottle of milk taken from a Smeg fridge and seeing the cream at the top?

Buttered rye bread with sardines in tomato and tomato pieces. This is going to be very nice!

I've just resurrected my valve head amp.
It didn't work :(
Had a gander and realised I'd nicked the output capacitors
Working now :)
Such fun.
I am valveless... I have no valves
After a few hours of use my Garrard 401 starts to smell like my grandad’s old Bedford van.
Ha - as long as yer pants don't! :D
Marco.
Have you noticed that you can't buy spray bleach now? I use it quite a lot for cleaning and wanted more. Nowhere seems to stock it now. Probably regarded as a potential weapon!
It'll be oven cleaner next!!
Lol - what do you guys use that stuff for? It's nasty.
We use bleach very occasionally (such as on our enamel bath), as bleaching everywhere is not particularly good for your immune system - and if you clean stuff often enough it doesn't need bleached! ;)
Cleaning products made from natural ingredients are far better than anything with chemicals in them - certainly much healthier :)
Marco.
Less so now, but if you've had a houseful of family including kids making the place grubby continually, bleach becomes more or less essential.
And as for protecting the immune system, well adults should have fully developed ones in any case.
Most of the inerior paintwork in the house is satin white and picks up discolouring hand marks quickly and I find bleach spray works well at keeping it looking decent.
I see, Geoff. No worries. None of that applies in our case. We do have three cats, though! ;)
Just not a big fan of using bleach, or any strong chemicals around the home. Prefer regular (ordinary) cleaning, to prevent dirt build up. Cleaning the house is one of my jobs every day, whilst Del's at work. I quite enjoy it actually, parading around in my wee pinny.... :eyebrows:
Marco.
Did you plant a spy camera last time you were here, darling?
Marco.
The rubber gimp suit is reserved for working outside, as it keeps the rain off! :D
Had my dinghy training today
Boy I'm going to ache tomorrow
Shock, horror - I've let my wine "cellar" dwindle to 20 bottles. So on the phone today to my vintner to correct the situation: Christmas is a comin' and we will be having house guests to stay.
I tend to stay dry over Christmas. Makes up for enjoying beers through the year! :D
Crazy talk.
Fish and Spuds tonight ;)
Got a group ride tomorrow from Bognor Regis
It's going to be really cold so will be wearing my Smartwool Merino base plus lots of layers ;)
Rather you than me Bev. :D
Na... riding in a group is great fun Geoff.... :D
its still before the threshold:eyebrows:
Said Plato.
So the rumours aren't true? :hmm:
