Got a bit of Dexter Gordon on now. Okay, so plinky plonk like this will flatter any system but even so...I think I just upgraded a couple of notches. :) I like that they sound completely out of the box and just paint a big soundstage down the end of the room. I suppose it helps that they are so tall and the midrange driver is at the top of the array, although it angles down a little.
Anyway they have been far from a disappointment so far. Rest of system probably needs upgrading to match them, LOL. What can you do? The budget is done in for this year :)
