Ah, I see, they're NOS..........
As I believe that electrolytic capacitors deteriorate with age (when used or not), how successful have you found using NOS ones to be, compared with high-quality new production equivalents?
Or perhaps you've not done the comparison?
The reason I ask, is that I'm soon to re-cap my valve power amp, and was looking for what options were available. I had thought of BHC Aerovox, but would be open to suggestions as to anything else that was excellent.
The capacitors (I would like electrolytic types) need to be rated at 550V minimum.

My hobby is wood- and metalwork every friday I am at it,..and my passion is music (4 hours a day in the evening) hence the audio-equipment is made by myself over the years....the commercial stuff despite their pricetag was not doing it for me...(and yes I have the lot...Krell, Audio Research, Wadia, Avalon etc)
I read a lot and try out a lot and slowly but shurely you know which direction you want to take it.
I made everything myself..this particular cable has a silver wire with ricepaper and silk a mesh screen and ricepaper and silk again finished with a sheath. The plug is a modified Silver Eichman with a Cocobolo encasing and brass strain relief...the ebony is a kind of cable-resonator instead of damping.
Erik, I know I'm in my early 40's but would consider adopting me?
