One of my Fav old time movies now .. The Devil and Miss Jones..1941... stars Jean Arthur, Robert Cummings and Charles Coburn. Directed by Sam Wood who also did For Whom the Bell Tolls.

My Mum was working as a Nanny in Boston at the time of the Strangler.
She spoke about how frightened everyone was at the time.
yes it was a terror i believe.. the film does give off dark tones that most of type dont manage..Quote:
