Tell Me Something............Anything!

Went to a weird funeral yesterday seems 'aunty Sheila' wasn't very well liked.

Consensus of opinion was that music for the service should have included 'ding dong the witch is dead' and party poppers were mentioned.

Good turn out though.

Although to be fair, I hate it when the gushing eulogy is actually nothing like the person you knew - we're all human, warts and all, and some you will like, some you won't - all part of life's minestrone, but better to be honest about it. RIP Aunty Sheila, nonetheless.

Apparently during the war her sister (my other half's Mum) made every effort to get her evacuated!

I placed an online home delivery order with Tesco yesterday and noticed a considerable number of items are unavailable at the moment. Looks like the stories about shortages are fueling panic buying.

Supply-chain issues are global right now so they probably really can't get the stock in. Although some panic-buying is probably happening too.

But strangely no panic buying of fuel. Maybe the shortage of lorry drivers is leaving more fuel for the rest of us.
