Really nice pair of Heybrook HB3s for only 100 notes in Plymouth. Drivers and cabinet are first class by the look of them

They look great.
I thought I'd report back on my eBay bought Trichord Research 'Digital Turntable' CD transport. To be honest, it sounds bloody superb. Far exceeding my expectations and although I'm still getting used to it, I'd say it's as musical as my Meridian 507 and Pioneer PD-S505 Precision players. It's very lucid and transparent, with some heft to the sound. I'm listening to it through the tiny Usher S520 speakers I picked up yesterday and the sounds are excellent from both CD and speakers. Can't wait to try it through the big Tannoys. Can't believe I got something that sounds this good for £41 :)
Nice one Geoff, they were well regarded back in the day.
They're very good. No hint of hardness or harshness on my system. Excellent imaging and depth, with fine driver integration and no noticeable colourations. Even the bottom end is respectable for such a tiny box. Beautifully made too.
I'm pretty sure that's the same bass/mid driver as the Proac.
