I agree that whoever is organising your funeral shouldn't be out of pocket, which is why we'll be ensuring that our funeral is paid for, with instructions provided for those who are doing it (our much younger cousins, all sorted in our will), and if heaven forbid, they should pop off before us, then hopefully we can find someone else!:DQuote:

well wife had been wed before(in church) so we got a registary job, which was right outside church lol, so you got the church in pics if you wanted. not many pics of it now alas that are in good nick as they deteriorated badly.
still i have my memories of day. still got a great collection of daughters wedding tho as me and my mate did them. He took them and i did the post production.
it was more stressful than giving her away. lol
Lol - nice one, always good to have contacts! Never been to a wedding in a Registry Office. None of my family have been married in one (all churches), same with Del:)
In ours, we arrived at church (in Paisley) in a horse-drawn carriage, then we left to go to the reception (in Langbank) in a vintage Rolls Royce, at the same hotel Carol Smillie chose for her wedding reception: https://www.gleddoch.com/?utm_source...hotel-gleddoch
It was a lovely place and a fantastic day. Then I whisked her off to Austria for our honeymoon (as you know she LOVES snow), and it was a winter wedding.

Was Married (Twice!) elsewhere!
Best memories from that were Mum n Dad with me, both RIP.
