When I microwave 1/2 pint of Jersey milk, the fat congregates on the surface. So when I pour it in the thermos, much is removed as it wants to stay in the Pyrex jug.
It still tastes way better than sem-skimmed supermarket.
Homogenisation reduces the size of the fat molecules by high pressure. But doing so appears to crucify the taste.
It should taste cremier according to this video. It doesn't. Something is very wrong with this process.

Called A2 because of the type of protein it contains I see.
Lol.. yup its very easy on my stomach but i prefer goats milk, which is naturally homogenized. ... Thus, the benefit of natural homogenization comes into clear view. Goat's milk has smaller fat globules and does not contain agglutinin which allows it to stay naturally homogenized and tastes very creamy.

Cool... However, if you get your milk delivered locally by a milkman, why are you buying Jersey milk, instead of Bristol's best [i.e from a farm local to you]?;)
Surely the dairy where your milkman gets his milk must also source theirs locally?
Yes, Jersey milk is good, but I'd bet that outside of the locality, you're probably only tasting it at 80% of its potential. Therefore, I suspect that good quality milk, produced locally to you, will taste every bit as good, or if not better - and probably cheaper :)
