I have one (or should that be two, as it came with a second arm-wand?). Would like to resurrect it: but now unsure about the mercury contact arrangement. Ideally, I would like to have the arm-wands modified to bypass the mercury contacts, maybe through using a Lemo 4-pole plug and socket arrangement.
The damped unipivot arrangement would be ideal for use with Decca cartridges.

Pair of Acoustic Research AR35BX speakers ending today in Essex. Bass and midrange drivers need refoaming but, for 99p, I'd say it's well worth doing
