I don’t really know their stuff (apart from the obvious) so have added to my list to give it a go tonight. [emoji846]

This takes me back, one of my most played albums in the late 70s. Logs and Thangs still brings a smile to my face.
It wasn’t bad, a couple of tracks really good and Reaper is of course a certified classic. I’ll try the live album another time, for some reason that album made me want to hear Werewolves of London.

Fat Dog - WOOF.
Fat Dog are, um, interesting! Had never heard of them, but Tidal has - certainly a lively way to start the Bank Holiday weekend! (My son just came in from school and started bopping to it, so must be good!)

Tebi Rex - Fin.
RIP Dick Parry, Pink Floyd session saxophonist who has passed away today. Playing this in his honour.

Rather spookily, googling “Wish You Were Here” to get the album cover image brought up results for the travel program of the same name - and Judith Chalmers who has also passed away today! RIP
Try the album I posted as well as Man Made Object. YMMV but I think they are their best albums, not so keen on the new ones and didn't really enjoy the gig as much as I normally do with them.
Still outstanding musicians, but the newer music isn't as much to my liking.
If that had been my first time seeing them Alex I would have been more than happy, but it was my third and they have, like most artists, evolved musically. They are less contemporary jazz now, more contemporary electronic jazz. You might prefer the later stuff to the earlier?

Stephen Wilson Jr.

Oh wow, just found out Stephen Wilson Jnr is married to Leigh Nash. Wonder how often she asks him to “kiss me beneath the milky twilight”? Or the “bearded barley”. :eyebrows:
I very much doubt anyone here would like Stephen Wilson Jr. I came to him via Lukas Nelson, who might be a little more palatable for some? (he's Willie's son).

Seen Lukas live numerous times, an amazing live act, although he's solo at the moment.

Little Barrie - Gravity Freeze
Another cracking Blues Rock Album from LB
and again
Sort of shouting into a vacuum chamber here :) but, wow !, their best yet. Absolutely Aced it.
Album of the year for me.
I didn’t know them until playing that. I enjoyed it, but not blown away by it, might need another play or two.
Have posted this before, play it almost every day, three times in a row one day - so I would say this is my album of the year so far. And I never thought I would say that about an album that strongly features the recorder!

This is very interesting . . . I'm thinking of Portishead, Massive Attack, Hendrix and some Patti Smith swagger . . . there's even some Laurel Canyon vibes. In fact there's everything going on in here! . . . me likey.
It's too much of a lovely day to stop in and listen to music so I'm listening to Van Halen instead :D
